My Latest Research on Institutional Quality and SDG 16

I am thrilled to announce that the proceedings from my recent conference presentation are now officially published and available for download on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), an Elsevier network (ISSN: 1556-5068).

The paper, titled "Institutional Quality, State Capacity, and Sustainable Development: A Global Analysis of SDG 16 Implementation," is now accessible to the global research community.


What is the paper about?

Achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires more than just ambitious targets; it requires the structural foundation to make those targets a reality. My research takes a deep dive into SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), exploring the critical intersection of governance and global progress.

In this global analysis, the paper examines:

  • Institutional Quality: How the integrity, transparency, and accountability of public institutions directly impact development outcomes.

  • State Capacity: The practical ability of governments to implement policies, deliver public services, and enforce laws effectively.
